Fish recipes are a significant part of cuisine all over the world, and the finger fish recipe is one of the best-known ones. Finger fish which is also known as fish finger in Britain and fish sticks in America is a processed fish recipe which is made by the meat of white-meat fish varieties such as cod, haddock, or Pollock and in some cases, it is also made with salmon. In Pakistan, this recipe is also made from the meat of the pangash fish. Usually, the fish is cut into small fillets or the fish could be grounded or minced and then reformed into shape. These fillets are covered in either a batter of corn flour or in a coating of breadcrumbs. There are many other names given to finger fish all over the world like fish nuggets, fish biscuits, and fish cake. They can either be baked in an oven or deep fried in oil. In Pakistan, the fish finger is prepared by the breading of fish and then deep frying in oil. It is commonly available in western supermarkets and can be found in the frozen foods section, although it is gaining popularity in Pakistan at a steady speed. How to Make Finger Fish

1 cup Maida
Salt as per taste
½ tsp Black pepper powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
½ tsp Garlic Paste
2 tbsp Lemon juice
1 Egg
½ cup Water
500g Fish
2 cup Bread Crumbs
Cooking Oil for Fry
Step by step Cooking Method
1. In a bowl, maida , salt, black pepper powder, cumin powder, garlic paste, lemon juice, egg, water and mix it well.
2. Now, add fish and marinate for 30 minutes.
3. After that, cover with bread crumbs and fry until light brown.
Your tasty Finger fish now ready to serve
Cooking time: 30 minutes
