How to Make Baingan Ka Bharta
Ingredients
- Eggplant 500g
- Cooking Oil 2 tbsp
- Onion 1 piece
- White Cumin 1 tsp
- Green Chili 2 pieces
- Garlic Chopped 1 tsp
- Tomato 4 pieces
- Salt as per taste
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder 1 tsp
- Hot Water half cup
- Green Coriander for garnishing
Method
1- In a grill pan, heat the eggplant and afterward, take off its skin.
2- Now, mashed the eggplant.
3- In a cooking pan, add cooking oil, onion, white pepper and fry it until light brown.
4- Now add garlic, tomato, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, hot water and cook it for 5-7 minutes.
5- After that, add the mashed eggplant and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
6- Use green coriander for garnishing.
